Seriously, the big problem with Tesla's idea of broadcasting power, an idea so well used in Heinlien's short story "Waldo", appears to be closer to reality now.  Cool. If the US would get off its butt and go to nuclear power, we could make it available everywhere. Probably via a subscriber system as one of the big killers for Tesla's idea was paying for it. Of course, the Luddites will flip out and claim it causes brain cancer, kills bees, etc. but hey, no more pesky elves. Sounds good to me.
