More Leatherwork
I spent some time today making a book cover for a notebook or recipe book for the auction at the martial arts BBQ we go to in the summer. It doesn't look like we will go this year, and I owe them some welding, if it ever dries out enough I can work in the driveway...so this was something I could do inside where it is dry and cool.
My big question now is should I selectively stain it to match the apron and how I can fix the back panel, where I tried to go below my skill level in size. So the cover and below a close up. It's not totally dry yet - the darker spots are damp areas - and in this humidity it will be a bit. The nice part was it got Noah interested in trying some...

This look very nice. I think staining it would be a great idea if you have the time, but as it is, it is a very nice piece.
