So since when did we move to California?  In the WJS today, they cover the case in Galveston where some birdwatcher takes out a feral cat for killing endangered birds and gets arrested for it. Some toll-keeper then claims the feral cat population under the bridge as his pets and after trying to run the shooter off the road, presses charges? And the DA goes with it?

Why the hell isn't the toll-keeper being made to for pay for licenses and the required shots for all those damned things? And being fined for their predation on endangered species? Why was he not arrested for assault for trying to drive a car off the road? How about animal cruelty for letting them all live under a bridge? Anyone stupid enough to feed and help maintain a feral population needs to be locked up for his own good. If feeding an animal when you feel like it is ownership, Ben owns a lot of ducks.

The birdwatcher should have used a Beeman. Maybe we should be chipping in to buy him one...
