The Non-hunting Trip

We drove down, as arranged, to meet Rick Johnson for our annual deer hunting trip. Hopefully, nothing bad happened to him because he didn't turn up and hasn't answered phone calls. I'll try Thompson and Kyle to check on him when I cool off some...

Anyway, the boys and I took the time and explored the Hill Country. Did you know they have topaz in Mason and there is actually a Texas cut? It wasn't hunting but it was still fun. For meat, unless I get something locally with the bow, I guess I'm calling Rocking H Ranch and buying half a buffalo...
