Thank you, Ms. Reck
I traditionally carry a black notebook that serves as my spare brain. I lost one last month coming home from Shelton and figured it was gone. It's not a big deal as that one was new but it was still a pain. I've lost them before and they never get sent back despite the promise of the reward on the front page. It's always pain because of the phone numbers and stuff in them. I lost touch with a friend in New Mexico, E. David Albert, because of that.
This time it did. I was surprised to get an envelope in the mail from Ms. Reck, who found it in an airplane seat pocket and sent it with a sweet card declining any reward. That seems unfair considering she went to the effort to sent it back, so do you think this will work?

I turned it for her today. I had forgotten how much fun small work in dry wood can be.

I think that is a wonderful reward. It's so pretty.

As always, you do wonders with a lathe, TG.

Thank you both but but I really suck. Look at these here, here, or here to pick three at random.

Those are all nice, but I'm willing to bet that the people who turned them do it for their lively hood. You don't, you have a day job that isn't art, and so you don't have all the time to practice that someone whose job is art would have. That said, these pieces that you linked to are wonderful, but personally, I would rather have a beautiful one made by you because you liked it me and it was made just for me than to have a super cool nice one someone else made that could be for anyone who was willing to shell out the money. I think you do beautiful work.
HUGS!
