"Thou shall not blog"

Via PJ O'Rourke's restatement of the Roman Catholic Church's list of Deadly Sins. Not being Catholic, I'm going to ignore his new commandment but he has a few good points. All of them really do fit under pride...

My father hated O'Rourke, considering him a fake conservative and lousy writer. I remember him asking me how he failed raising me after reading one of my copies of the collection of O'Rourke's works he found in the study. However, I think he'd actually like this second link. Go read this, from about the 7th paragraph down.

That's why I'll vote for McCain. I could make the arguments that his voting record is more conservative than he gets credit for, etc. but in the end, I'd rather vote for a honorable man, flaws and all, than a fake.
