Polychar in Rouen - Day 4

Well, we were going to take the afternoon off and head over to the beaches where the Allies landed in WW2. However, just before lunch, a nice young man told me my talk was rescheduled for 5 pm. My talk?  Luckily I had prepared it but forgot that it was at the end of the program. So we went out for dinner instead of to the old battleground. First we found this little bar that served Belgium beers. The Framboise in bottles in the US was swill compared to this.





Then we headed to the Resturant Du Ford for dinner of foie gras, cannonade de la Rounennse, and calvados souffee.









We then walked home the long way to burn some of that off.
