Venison Skewers

5 pounds venison back strap in 2" cubes
5 plum tomatoes, quartered
1 pound mushrooms
1 onion, cut into chucks

3 Tbsp Zatar mix
2 tsp crushed cumin seed
2 tsp crushed coriander seed
1 tsp crushed black pepper
1 tsp cayenne or chipolte pepper

Mix the spices together and toss with meat until covered. Let rest while you soak 8-12 wood skewers for 2 hours. Preheat grill as hot as possible. Skewer meat, veggie, meat until all of it is on sticks. Cook on high grill, turning every 3-4 minutes until done. Serve with pita bread and Greek salad.
