was Ben's response to the below, my first success forge weld. Despite the inclusions in the weld, it wouldn't untwist in a vise and it shaped out fine to make a ring. There are some inclusions from gunk between the wires and I haven't etched it to see the weld, althro I plan too. Next week at the local NTBA Thursday night Hammer-in, I am supposed to forge it all the way down and make a meat fork out of it.
