Last day in Sidney - rain and talks

I finished our customer calls and talks today a bit early so that John could make his flight home. I had hoped to sightsee a bit but it's raining like "the ruin of secert seas above." So I'm packing early before dinner with Ian and then tomorrow at 5:30 am I am off to the airport. We did manage to fit in some excellent Greek food for lunch.

That night, Ian, a fellow I know from email who teaches combatives, met me for dinner and we went to dinner in Chinatown.

A better shot of the gate...

The typical Chinese seafood places were there with the largest crabs and lobsters I've ever seen. The lobsters were the size of a small dog and the crab (below) was easily larger than my head.

Dinner included Hong Kong style pork chops, dim sum, Sichuan lamb, and chilli prawns. The style of chinese food here was very different from Malaysia, reflecting a greater influence from Hong Kong I beleive.

The next update will be from Texas...
