Strassbourg to Milan to Seer Green
Sunday morning I walked the river path around the island center of Strasbourg before having lunch at a local cafe.

That afternoon I took a train thru the French and Swiss countryside to Basel...

where I switched to a train for Milan. Does anyone know why the Basel train station has, as well as awesome chocolate, stuffed crows all over? Dinner on the way down was stuff I bought in Strasbourg - a dried suasage, local cheese with carraway seeds, persimmons, apples, a Swiss bread, and some Gewurztraimer...

My view of Milan was only from the hotel <sigh>

I arrived Milan at night and then next day was both rainy and busy so I didn't get to see much. I did have a local veal dish for lunch called an elephant ear. It a thin slice of veal fried crispy.

Late Monday night, I took British Air to London and then a car out to Gerrards Cross. Tuesday was in the office and then I'm off again.
