East Texas in the snow
Noah and I drove out to East Texas today to set up the feeders on our land. It was even snowier and colder than in Denton and once we left I-30 in Mt. Pleasant, with all the large pines shading the road, it got a bit exciting at times.

Our place was snowy enough we didn't trust the road so we parked just inside the gate

and walked the feeders in to the top of the hill...

we then wandered down to the draw

and back toward the stream, where we saw lots of deer and raccoon tracks,

on the way back, we went by Atlanta State Park

and then by the Sulphur Springs River.

Then we went though Maud and New Boston to get to I-30 to go home.
